College history collections and other manuscript materials can be found through searching ArchivesSpace, a site that provides access to our finding aids. Finding aids are documents that describe archival collections and will help you discover material for your research topic. Learn more about the College Archives.
Discover advanced search contains the records for all books and some of the manuscript materials. Using the advanced search option, you can limit your search to materials located in Mount Holyoke College Archives and Special Collections. We also have guides to our rare book collections by subject.

Digital reproductions of materials in Archives and Special Collections can be found in our digital repository, Five College Compass: Digital Collections. Archives and Special Collections also captures various parts of the Mount Holyoke College website. These archived versions of the site can be found through Archive-It.org.
Staff have created research guides for an introduction by subject to various Archives and Special Collections holdings. These guides are meant to help you begin your research on select topics and are not complete lists of relevant material. Please ask an archivist.
