Quantitative learning

Ed Tech offers support for the use of R and RStudio, including both the MHC RStudio server and the desktop applications. LITS does not currently support R Shiny.

We can provide instructional support for R during class visits, drop-in R hours during the academic year, and individual appointments.

For those interested in using Tableau, free, 12-month (renewable) licenses are available to faculty and students under their academic program. Support for an introduction to using Tableau is available from LITS by contacting Jim Burke, jburke@mtholyoke.edu.

JupyterHub use is supported by LITS and faculty may learn more about JupyterHub servers on our JupyterHub server page. For JupyterHub requests, select “request Jupyterhub” on the right side of the screen.

We offer support with basic data manipulation and visualization in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. For individual appointments or to inquire about class visits, use the information under the Get Help section.
