Welcome

Archives and Special Collections is Mount Holyoke. We collect, preserve and share the stories of the Mount Holyoke community — its people and its physical places — from the school’s founding in 1837 to the present day. Materials that you can use for research and teaching in Archives and Special Collections include photographs, letters, diaries, scrapbooks, rare books and much more. Consult our research page for more information about our collections.

We are open to the public.
