my.mtholyoke access is once again available from both on- and off-campus network connections. 

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we’ve worked to keep my.mtholyoke secure.

As we prepare to apply a security patch to our SharePoint infrastructure, LITS needs to take my.mtholyoke fully offline for a short period of time this afternoon between noon and 3pm. 

After 3pm my.mtholyoke will once again be available for on-campus network connections, including (for current students, faculty, and staff) via the MHC VPN

This evening we will apply the security patch from Microsoft. During that update process, my.mtholyoke may be briefly unavailable for a few minutes. 

We will send an all clear message via LITS-alert when my.mtholyoke is fully restored after this evening’s maintenance.

For now, my.mtholyoke remains restricted to the campus network. We are working with vendors to schedule a service event that will enable off-campus access to be restored.

As we shared this morning, my.mtholyoke / the Volunteer Hub is temporarily unavailable from off campus. This is a proactive security measure to protect the College from a vulnerability impacting SharePoint servers (part of my.mtholyoke’s infrastructure) worldwide. 

As of this evening, we are still waiting for Microsoft to release a security patch that will address the vulnerability. 

Students, faculty and staff who need to access my.mtholyoke urgently may do so from on campus or via the MHC VPN.

As a reminder, the information we shared this morning about how this affects College processes remains true for off-campus users without the VPN:

  • my.mtholyoke and the Volunteer Hub will not be available from off-campus network connections until further notice
  • The course search can be viewed at the public Search for Classes page
  • Students cannot access TouchNet from off campus via my.mtholyoke in order to view student account activity or fall tuition, but their authorized users can access TouchNet

my.mtholyoke / the Volunteer Hub has been temporarily made unavailable as a security precaution as we work to protect the College from a vulnerability impacting SharePoint servers (part of my.mtholyoke’s infrastructure) worldwide. 

Our team is working as quickly and efficiently as possible to make my.mtholyoke broadly available again in a safe manner. 

In the meantime, here is what you need to know about how this affects College processes:

  • my.mtholyoke and the Volunteer Hub will not be available from off-campus network connections until further notice
  • The course search can be viewed at the public Search for Classes page
  • Students cannot access TouchNet from off campus via my.mtholyoke in order to view student account activity or fall tuition, but their authorized users can access TouchNet 
  • MHC Account self-service password management tools remain available; if you need to reset your MHC Account password, follow these instructions

The planned maintenance has been completed and my.mtholyoke and Touchnet now both use the blue and white MHC login page and Duo MFA for authentication.

If you encounter any issues going forward, please open a support ticket with the LITS Technology Help Desk. 

In the early morning on Tuesday, March 18th, my.mtholyoke.edu and TouchNet will transition to using the blue and white MHC login screen.  This update is to enable Duo MFA and to provide a consistent login experience with other MHC services.

You should be able to sign in to my.mtholyoke.edu by 7:30AM on March 18th, and into TouchNet by 8AM.

During the maintenance period the my.mtholyoke self-service menus will be unavailable. This means that users will not be able to: 

  • Reset their MHC Account password
  • Access their “MyProfile” page in my.mtholyoke
  • View transcripts and degree audits
  • View academic records via self-service
  • Access Lynk funding forms hosted in my.mtholyoke self-service
  • View pre-Workday launch tax documents and pay information
  • Register for a parking decal
  • Or access any other screens or forms from the self-service menus

Colleague/my.mtholyoke login was unavailable this morning between approximately 9am-9:30am.  The login service has been restored. If you continue to have difficulties, please contact the LITS Technology Help Desk for support at helpdesk@mtholyoke.edu or 413-538-2600.

my.mtholyoke has been restored and should be working properly. Ongoing issues or concerns should be reported to the Help Desk.

LITS has verified that my.mtholyoke is currently unavailable. We are actively working toward restoration. Check back here for regular updates.

LITS reports as of Monday evening, 8/2/21, that all MHC services impacted by the electrical outage today have been restored.  Please restart your computer if you notice any inconsistencies.  We are sorry for the interruption in workflow, and appreciate your patience as our team worked to a final resolution.  

Most MHC logins are fixed, however there remains inconsistent service in my.mtholyoke Self-Service menu.  Please stay tuned.  

We are continuing to experience issues related to the electrical problem from earlier today.   The key primary services impacted are listed below. We are working to restore them ASAP: Moodle, Drupal, Pathways, FoodPro, Embark, The Gates, Slate, PageUp, Library Catalog, and Eduroam (Wifi)

my.mtholyoke is restored to regular service. Please contact the LITS Technology Help Desk if you have further issues.

my.mtholyoke is currently not allowing users to log in. The LITS Technology Help Desk is aware and working on a resolution. We will update this page when the issues has been resolved.

The scheduled maintenance has completed successfully.  Full access to my.mtholyoke.edu has been restored. 

my.mtholyoke will undergo several hours of maintenance on Sunday, May 9th.  The following services will be unavailable during this maintenance: Self-service functions, departmental sites and the alumnae volunteer hub as well as other services will be unavailable between 5:00 am-Noon. 

my.mtholyoke will undergo brief maintenance on Tuesday, 5/4.  The following services will be unavailable during this maintenance: Self-service functions, departmental sites and the alumnae volunteer hub as well as other services will be unavailable between 5:30-6:00 pm.
