Encrypted email through Virtru is now available to all MHC faculty and staff.
What is Virtru?
Virtru is an email encryption tool that MHC is using to protect sensitive emails and attachments. You can use Virtru to send and read encrypted messages without ever leaving your inbox – and without the email recipients downloading any software or creating any passwords.
When should I use Virtru?
The Virtru extension is not needed for most email messages, but is recommended when sending confidential or certain types of restricted data.
Get started
Follow these instructions to install Virtru and start sending encrypted emails. You’ll need to log in with your MHC username and password to access the instructions link.
