Know Our History: Great-Grandmother's Advice from 1922!

Welcome class of 2026! Pictured here is a list of advice given to your great-grandmother class when they entered Mount Holyoke in the Fall of 1922. While much has changed, some of it is still relevant. These red pegasi 100 years ago were also worried about classes, decorating their room, finding friends, and extracurriculars. By the end of their four years though, their scrapbooks were filled with memories of friendship and love for the place they came to call home. We hope you find that same sense of community that generations of Mount Holyoke students have felt during their time here. Come stop by the Archives and Special Collections in the basement of Dwight to learn more about our history!
