Apple's 90 day deferral period for macOS 26 Tahoe will end on December 14. After that date, Tahoe will be selectable and advertised on user-assigned MHC Macs. If the timing isn't great for you to upgrade, no worries! Just scroll past the Tahoe information to any available updates for your current version of macOS.
You may be prompted for minor updates if your computer is behind, but you are not required to upgrade your operating system until it is no longer supported (though we do recommend installing Tahoe before the start of the Spring semester).
If you use the Avaya Workplace app, check your version number under Settings > Support > About. If you have version 3.38 or older, please install version 3.4 of the Avaya Workplace app to ensure compatibility with macOS Tahoe.
If you have any questions about macOS updates and upgrades, check out the information on the AskLITS portal.
