Borrow cameras, voice recorders, mics, projectors and a wide variety of other multimedia equipment from LITS to support your projects. LITS offers a wide range of up-to-date multimedia equipment, and we can teach you how to use it.
Laptops for students
Laptops are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Circulation Desk. You can check on current availability of student laptops at Gadgets-to-Go.
Dell Chromebooks can be borrowed for 4 hours and are a convenient option for in-library, classroom and other short-term use. If you would like a laptop for a longer period you can borrow a Macbook or Dell Latitude for 7 days.
Please note that LITS circulating laptops are prepared with a standard suite of academic software. If there are additional software titles you need that are not available via the Self Service application (Mac only), you can submit the Software Install Request form.
Laptops for faculty/staff
Faculty and staff can borrow laptops from the Circulation Desk on a first-come, first -served basis. Contact the Technology Help Desk if you have special needs.
Gadgets-to-Go
The Circulation Desk also loans out a variety of multimedia items on a first-come, first-served basis, including:
- various chargers — for iPhones, Android phones, Macbook Pros, Macbook Airs, Apple USB-C,
- stereo headphones, noise cancelling headphones and USB headsets,
- scientific calculators and graphing calculators and
- portable disk drives.

Media equipment offerings
Media Services maintains a large inventory of other equipment for 7-day loans. The following types of equipment are available to check out:
