Beginning Tuesday June 16th, LITS will be accepting returns of books, CDs, and DVDs via the exterior book return at the entrance to Williston Library. The book return will be open Tuesday-Thursday every week.
Please remember that there is no immediate need to return items. All due dates have been extended through the first week of September, and you are still welcome and encouraged to hold on to your library materials for the summer. There will be no late fees, and you will help LITS staff manage the volume of returns if you bring items back in the fall.
All materials returned to the library will be quarantined for at least 3 days. This means that returned items may stay on your record for the period of this quarantine and some amount of time after the quarantine period, as it will take some time to process all the returned materials.
Please do not return equipment (laptops, cameras, headphones, etc.) via the book return, and be aware that there is limited space available. If you need to return equipment, or have a very large quantity of books to return, contact libcirc@mtholyoke.edu and we will work with you to make alternate arrangements.
The health and safety of staff and patrons is our top priority. We ask that you abide by social distancing standards and remain 6 feet from others at all times. Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility as we work to keep our community safe.
