Some Mount Holyoke College employees were sent a scam Google Drive file share to their MHC Google accounts.
The file (called "Mount Holyoke College Academic Governance Update Circular 2026") appears to be sent from an MHC employee. Different recipients may see different sender names. The sender email addresses are abernier685[@]gmail[.]com and hamelsophie89[@]gmail[.]com.
In addition to an email notification, users may have seen this show up as a Google chat message from the Google Drive app or in their Google Drive "Shared with me" folder.
This is a scam. Do not engage with the file.
