Beware of scammy event invitations - with different subjects and senders
LITS has been notified of a recent rise in scammers using event organizing websites like Paperless Post and Punchbowl to launch phishing attacks aimed at colleges and universities.
If you receive an event invitation that you didn't expect or that looks odd to you, don't click on any links or download any attachments. Instead, report it as phishing.
