Have you ever wondered what daily life was like for students at Mount Holyoke Female Seminary in the 19th century? During the week, students rose early in the morning and spent their days studying, writing compositions, and doing domestic work. Don’t worry, it wasn’t all work and no play! Time for recreation was also built into students’ schedules. As for the weekend, students weren’t allowed to have visitors on Saturdays and attended mandatory church sermons on Sundays.
