The Archives and Special Collections staff is open to the public and available to support your research process via email, video appointment, or phone. We are open by appointment. Please email us at archives@mtholyoke.edu to schedule an appointment or visit so we can discuss your research and the collections that you are interested in. Understanding your research needs will help us recommend relevant materials from our collections.
Pencils, notebooks, laptops, tablets, cameras and camera phones are all welcome in the Archives and Special Collections Reading Room. (Please note that some collections may have restrictions that prevent photography.)
Please leave jackets, bags, laptop cases, folders, pens, food (including gum and hard candy) and drinks at our lockers.
We are open Monday – Friday, 9:30 am – noon and 1 – 4:30 pm during the academic year. Appointments are required in advance of your visit. Please email an archivist at archives@mtholyoke.edu to make your appointment.
We are located on the basement level of Mount Holyoke College’s Dwight Hall, at the corner of Church and College Streets in South Hadley, MA.
