- Connect to library databases through Databases A-Z, from one of the library research guides, or access ejournals or ebooks using the search box above.
- You will be directed to enter your MHC username and password.
- Once you have logged in, you will have access to the resource just as if you were on campus.
Email ris-d@mtholyoke.edu if you have problems connecting.
Need to access the Mount Holyoke network from off campus? There’s a tool for that — called virtual private network (VPN). Even if you’re traveling, you can still connect to the Mount Holyoke campus over the internet safely and securely to access the same resources you normally use on campus.
GlobalProtect is VPN software that allows faculty, staff and current students to securely connect a computer or mobile device to the Mount Holyoke network while off campus.
Once connected via VPN, you will have access to all Mount Holyoke on-campus resources, including licensed software (on College-owned machines), mapped network drives on the AMBR file server, printers, administrative systems and, as on campus, remote desktop computers.

Remote Admin (Radmin) software is available to faculty and staff who need to securely run software licensed on their campus computer from an off-campus (remote) location. Radmin is Windows 7 and 10 compatible and uses 256-bit AES encryption. It is used primarily for staff who need to access core College systems (Colleague or Lawson) remotely.
Remote Admin Server is licensed by LITS and will be installed on your campus computer by LITS staff. Remote Admin Viewer is downloaded and installed on the remote computer by the user and then used to access Remote Admin Server on the campus computer.
